once i got my letter from DCAS to appear, the list came out shortly after (a few weeks from what i remember). Good luck to all and don't forget what it was like to be a Sgt...

So sounds like were looking at the list being released in early May for late May early June promotions.

Could still be late April not too many vet to clear at the rank of Lt I would guess under 50

Ball is rolling. Probably have appointments through April... list mid-late May. Between DCAS and the Job it will probably take about a month after the last veteran appointment for the list to come out.

Somebody could probably comb the previous LT exams and get an average time between vet letters and the list coming out. I'm just guessing 4 weeks... nothing seems to take less than 4 weeks around here.

2016 sgts exam had people go to verify on week of dec 7. List came out 3 weeks later on Dec 29.

What makes you think that? They havnt promoted Lieutenants in 6 months AND there are some left on the old list. They can make this list and not promote off of it for another 6 months.

Good guess...i agree. Once all the fit unit, military points, and medal points are added it will take about another month for dcas to certify it. So I would say late april and first promotions at the end of May. Wish dcas could speed it up in time for end of april promotions but hey its dcas. The end is near....

End of April might be it. They have a promotion scheduled for the end of April but the rank is unknown at the time. If they don't put in a group of Sgts then that promotion might be reserved for us LTs.

Its was only 6 throwouts

3 from review board and 3 from Dcas monitors

I went to Dcas today and thats what they said and was also info the foil request with full detail will be available after April 2

Im very curious to hear which 6 questions were thrown out. That seems very excessive for such a straightforward test. Other than the 61 question in the inbasket I cant think of another one. Any ideas.
