Just so that all you newly minted future captains don't forget what everyone went through after 2015 LT exam and the cream of crop were these genius fellows and I expect to see top of the upcoming list filled with these names. Hey , if you were on top of the hardest LT exam ever, you definitely will be on top of a very fair Captain's exam.

SCAMMERS!!! All these imbeciles stole the rank of lieutenant... they stole people's hard earned money.... they stole from the city of New York tax dollars by stealing a rank they are NOT entitled to. IAB on the air???? I know you have more people under investigation, but please do your job and prosecute these criminals... they never studied a day in their careers... promotions have been given to them.. that's why they ALL failed! I don't care how many brooklyn nets games #7 is honored at, you don't fool me... piece of garbage!

I heard #32 failed with a 50....50!!!! This guy scored an 83 on the hardest exam ever in the dept.... can't even score a 70 on the fairest valid exam that someone studying a sergeant exam could pass.... IAB on the air??? This guy brags about being a cheater... collar for grand larceny for stealing a promotion!!! We have the best detectives in the world... do some investigating!

Put the test on a Wednesday and the few that I know failed meanwhile they were all at the top of other lists.  Very disgusting .

 That's the worst part. That they dishonor both uniforms at once. They haven't seen combat or earned a rank on their merit. Much is unprecedented with this test. First we get the scores right away, and now theres small enough passers that someone can generate a raw list to avoid the wait.. Awesome..

Just glanced over the 14 test thread. It appears the 14 list went from 9/15 to 9/17. That list just had 118 candidates. So @92C may be right 4 years for those of us at the bottom.

 Brooklynbacon, your better than that.  For the rank of captain, you have to include DI, inspector, etc. There is about 750 spots combined.  No one is dieing on the list but it may go close to the full 4.

Half of the list from what I am hearing don't even have 2 years in rank so I wouldn't pass it up so quick you may get promoted much faster if you are in the bottom with time on.

 Vucinaj killed it for us. If 2015 Lt test was hard but fair we would have a chance to sit for this cpt test. In 4 years its not going to be worth it for me either....

Fyi..the list is in number order, then its ordered alphabetically. So if there 10 people with 80..those 10 are in alphabetical order. So you can move up or down in list number..etc.

My 255 guess is looking Pretty good. Either way all Will be made. About 60 captains a year will get promoted.
