To everyone taking the 2017 Lieutenant Exam:
You should all be very busy getting your last minute studying and review in - you have 3 days left until the exam is here and you can have your life back! Ed and I just wanted to wish you all the best of luck. To those of you who trusted Rising Star Promotions, thank you for choosing us - We sincerely hope it pays off for you! Stay calm during the test and watch the clock (important - refer back to week 1's lesson for tips on test taking). Also, remember the DCAS prohibitions on test day. Some of them are new, and include the restriction against using "post-its, index cards or any material to reference places in the test booklet or reference booklet."  Also, no electronic devices/cell phones in the test site - do not risk your chances!!! It sincerely was a pleasure coaching, guiding and mentoring our students over the 20-week course. We are committed to always improve our material and hope to see you all again for your next promotion.As always, study hard and good luck on your big day this week!

Dear Students: As I mentioned in some email responses to a few of you, thank you for the opportunity to assist you in preparing for the exam! From all the feedback, we hear it was a "standard" exam with nothing too crazy on it. As we instructed and expected, there would be a handful of tricky questions and we heard there were - no surprises there. Relax now and enjoy having your life back, lol! You all deserve the credit for putting the time in and making the sacrifices necessary. Rising Star was merely your coach, mentor, and motivator. We sincerely hope it pays off for you and wish you the best.
