They did not get command yet. I asked my buddy there now. He said next week. I know they graduate the 25th but that was his answer.

wow 6 to psa 5 and 5 to 47 that seems like a lot of sgts to one command and i'm surprised they cancelled july class being that i know for a fact there are commands not in that list that are in need of sgts. Hopefully this just means the next few classes will be big.

guys there is no more impact. It is similar but different at the same time. There are 10 zones. SI/BN/BS/MAN N/HOUSING/TRANSIT and these zones consist of hot crime precinct. 120 precinct is the SI zone so that will tell you why they are getting additional sergeants. Also, there will be more experienced officers in those zones to act as FTO's. No more 6 month guys telling these new guys what to do. THey are shipping out even the old guys from the impact zones so they can not be 6 month hair bags to these guys. They are going to break these zones even further into precincts but that will not occur untill jan 2015. It looks like this commissioner is atleast interested in trying to train these kids the right way. Will it go downhill? no one really knows but we all know how impact had gone down hill. So hopefully it changes.
