As of now, plans are for a July class which will include a few 2013 people.

The rank is short about 9 bodies with another 20 on terminal.

I was told Captain promotions are scheduled for Friday July 25th. Don't have any numbers.

Thanks, hopefully they come up with a number soon. Think (hopefully) they have to notify people 2 weeks ahead of time and there should be a pre-promotion mentoring program involved that lasts one week.

6/29/12 class (the first of exam 1534) are already eligible with time in rank.

For the last class in May, the number of how many going in came down the 2nd Friday of the month. The 11th of July is 8 days away...

The last group from 2012 has been called to do the pre-captain field training thing beginning next week. I think this group includes a few 2013 people also but I don't have any names yet.

As per a friend who knows someone in the Personnel Bureau, they are saying October for us (unknown if early or late in the month), based on projected retirements.

For what it is worth there are promotions scheduled for Friday September 26th at 1100 and 1400 hours. If they promoted Captains the Executive leadership course would be held from 9/29 to 10/24.

I know someone who just got the call for mentoring and subsequent promotion to Captain, which is going to be Monday, September 29.

Don't have exact #'s. Just told that it is a huge class...around 15 going in. List got close to #30. Don't have exact #'s , sorry
