For those of us getting promoted in the near future what are some of the less obvious reasons (footposts, prisioner transports etc.) that being a boss is better than staying a cop?

Get ready for sgts still trying to tell you what to do b/c you are a new sgt. I had the other day, told him to take a hike. They are your equal, time counts for stuff, sure, but it doesn't count for them treating you like a cop with a gold shield....you're a boss now, some you have to make sure know it.
