Seems like a groundball question, due to the fact they made it to 755 for the '06 test. But with the economy the way it is, does anyone "In the know" have insight on this? Meaning upcoming vacancies, etc.

The economy was bad during the last 4 years and they got through 755 names and besides we're going in to a new (physical year; joke ). List may even be done before the full 4 years. We'll all be fine guys and gals don't worry.
I agree with oneadditional do not think the list will take four years. know a couple of good people toward the bottom of the list. really hope they get made.
No unit has any idea how many they will need beyond a few months or so. With the '03 Lts list they over promoted to finish the list up. There is no way they would get to say # 620 and just kill off the last 40. Everyone will get promoted. And contrary to what some have been saying Lts are indeed retiring. I say 3-3 1/2 years to finish the list. I say around Jan 2015 they announce the next LT test.
