My list # is mid in the 30's so it's not that relevant for me...but if I got my fit points I only picked up 4 pts on throwouts/doubles. Seems impossible.

how long until we get the letter with the grade/list?

is there a break down on there?

and how bad of a production is it if the Fitness points are not added?

congratulations to all who passed

I too don't have my fitness points. Longevity/Veterans/Medals have all been added. Can DCAS do anything right? They did this on the most recent Sgt's Test Also. Seems as though the list #'s will change just like the Sgts List.

Fitness points are done manually. Wait it few weeks for the updated list with the fitness points.

They forgot to add the fitness pts for a bunch of people on the 2011 sgts exam. The did it weeks later and the list#'s were adjusted but I think you have to let them know it's not automatic.

How are you guys calculating your points/throwouts etc without the final answer key? Also, what were the cutoff dates for the medals?

thanks

To: 6 year wonder

I saw your post in the sgt forum. When is the best time to file an appeal for the missing points? According to some that posted on there they received their score cards from DCAS a few weeks after the list was published and then filed an appeal. When did you receive your score card?

Will they automatically adjust the scores for the fitness points that weren't added or do you have to call somewhere to let them know this so they can add them? Does anyone know? Thanks

I didn't get my fitness points either. The medals and seniority added up properly.

If you search personnel orders for your name. It would show all the medals that were awarded to you.

Can we go to DCAS today with our FIT slips or do we have to wait for that letter in the mail with our actual grade?

It was a response to abeyance question. Ten people on the list had been promoted already off the 06 list. Don't have names though, my friend gave me the info

I waited for my official score card in the mail, then i wrote my appeal to them with proof of the fitness calculations. You have 30 days to submit your appeal. you can also do it in person, but i did it via mail. (i certified my letter, bc you know how things get "lost") and fyi, i had a friend who assumed it would be corrected for him...and it didnt and he lost out on a point...smh...submit it asap, but after you get your official score card!

Enough about your .00000002 fitness point already. It won't make much of a difference anyway. You'll probably just go in front of one or two people if that. Everyone is getting promoted off the list. You be a lieutenant soon so don't worry.

So to correct it, we have to physically go down to DCAS?

I guess you're the lucky one. when I add my longevity which is meager and medals it doesn't add up with fitness. a I would have ended up with higher fraction of the point.

Actually its .5 points per year and i don't care if it was .0000001. I got up at the crack of dawn on 2 seperate days and drove to east ny to take the physicals. Even if I were number 1 on the list I would pursue it. We deserve what we earned and I won't accept their (DCAS) incompentance

Just wait until you get your scorecard in the mail, then protest it with DCAS.
