Got my veterans credit letter!

I'm sure no one who gets this interview is going to need an extra month to submit proof. Like myself I have my documents at the ready. And I won't be posting a pic. My name and last four of my social is on the letter.

One of the sgt's at my office got a 62 raw score biggrin on the proposed key and also got his veterans credit letter. It states his date is on the 25th and he has 30 days to claim the credits.

that being said its nice to know someone with a 62 got the letter...

i wonder what the lowest raw score is that received one.

Excellent. I know if you don't have all the documentation at the time of the interview, they give you a month to produce it. Not sure if the list coming out will wait until that month is over or if they would publish it after the initial interviews on 5/25 and just adjust the few guys that didn't have it on their scheduled interview date. Either way, thanks for the info!

Congrats tech. So you were sitting with a 65 and you got your letter. Guess that means you made the list and picked up the 5 (or more) you needed. They wouldn't call you down if you weren't on the list right? Also. If the appt. Is on the 25th, it looks like June is probable for the release of the list. Just opinion obviously

I know of a guy on one of the last Sgt's exams that had a failing grade with the proposed key, got his veterans interview, and still didn't make the list. Not a guaranteed thing, but still a good sign.

I would say that would be true if this was still feb and the review panel wasn't finished, but being that the tvb is done and they know which questions are tossed, they wouldn't waste their time sending a letter now, if they know hea not on the list

Veterans credits interview letters just being received. The slow pace that DCAS works at we are probably looking at another month to a month and a half. Unbelievable

Look on the Sgt's board.... Guys had dates to verify thier veteran's credits in January, and thier list wasn't out for 3 months after that! We might have a long wait here folks.

Yeah, but were those guys that failed with the proposed key? Guys that passed our exam with the proposed key had their interviews in February.

Yea but stig, I think some guys (maybe the 241) already went. This new wave of interviews may be for the new guys that made the list after the throwouts.

If there is a 30 day window, DCAS will take all 30 days, even if every last person who was mailed the letter shows up on the first day. It's just how they operate. If you have ever been down there (1 Centre St) you know what I mean.

I think we can all agree, if these guys aren't going down til the end of this month for thier interview....by the time dcas verifies thier veteran status, adds thier points, and then puts the list in order...we're probably not seeing this list until at least July.

Regarding the list not coming out for a while cuz the veteran points need to be added in...Totally makes sense! So why did we all get so worked up that the list was coming out the last 3 wednesdays knowing no one got their veterans letters yet!!

i feel for you guys at the top of the list .. it appears as if you guys will have to wait an extra month.. but for guys like me that need a prayer.. ill take it and wait the darn 3-4 years and get made if i make the bottom of the list.

It does take about two minutes to verify the paperwork. So hopefully the list will be out sooner or at least the final answer key.

That's not how DCAS operates. Unfortunately they won't post the final answer key until after the list comes out.

06 Sgt test they screwed up and posted the final answer key for a couple of hours then they took it down before the list came out. You never know they might screw up again.

Yeah- they have done nothing to inspire confidence in their abilities to do anything in a competent manner. They mailed out a wrong proposed key to someone a week early for our test, and the posting of the final key for the 06 sgt's test.
