Sit down and pour yourself a drink before you read this!

I went to dcas today and it was a skeleton crew up there but I was able to find out some very scary information. The girl that I spoke to explained to me that the alternate exams aren't going away and that city employees have been complaining for years. She further explained that there are in fact 241 Sergeants with a score of 70+ and over 20% of those that passed took the exam on 11/15. She said that I could submit a FOIL request and get the names of everybody that passed and the date that they took they exam after the list is established. She also gave me some advice that is too late to follow now and that is the only way to keep the alternate date cheaters from having an unfair advantage then we should keep the details of the exam to ourselves. I have been reading this website for four years and I've never posted but I must admit that I am guilty of talking to my buddies and coworkers about the questions that I remembered.

I forgot to add that she also said that there are people out on military orders that still haven't taken the exam and they will get the same exact questions as us.

Haha. It's funny because it's true.

20%? That sucks. This disgusts me, but I must acknowledge that I'm partially to blame for posting here.  Not that I could've stopped the hordes of people who would post anyway in spite of warnings.

they took it the following day, didnt do much for them...the advantage was for those who took the test 2 weeks later.

Join the military, go to Afghanistan, come back and you'll nail it.

the problem here is that most of these military guys are scammers they are not deployed anywhere they simply scheduled their drill for the day of the exam so they can take it 2 to 4 weeks later when they know all the answers. As far as i am concerned they cheated. and before i get blamed blah blah blah I also want to add that i have absolutely nothing against any boy or gal who are legitimately deployed and fighting for this country, but i do hate the scammers

i would like to know how many of the late test takers would actually take the test earlier if given the option. i bet a whole lot less would have a conflict with the test date then

If I ever end up working for a Lieutenant falling under this catergory (military reversists pretender/scammer who scammed to pass the test this way), let's just say it would be very difficult to be motivated to work for such a person.
