Guys, only because I see a lot of debating about this, I figured id give my two cents. My memory isn't any sharper than anyone elses, and I got it wrong, but I'm pretty sure the strip search answer choices were something like this (and I'm amost 100% sure about the first three. The forth one, which wasn't the answer choice, I'm not toally sure about.
A) can only search with reasonable belief beyond the arrest.....
B) can only do a subsequent search with reasonable suspicion of perp getting new weapon/contraband
C) (correct answer) need permission of immediate supv or boro court boss
D) desk will mediate disputes (I'm not sure but was something like this. Was wrong anway)
What they did in A & B because they are scum bags, was switch reasonable belief (probable cause) and reasonable suspicion. A would've been correct had it said reasonable suspicion, and B would've been correct had it said reasonable belief (need RS to search first time, RB to search the second). I got it wrong, but this is how I remember it. 99.9% sure. By the way, these are not in the correct order of choices as they were on the exam
What letter did you put that you say you got it wrong ?
What question # was it?? I chose the subsequent search choice, which I looked up right after the test because I didn't like the RS/RB play on words and remember I chose the subsequent search due to the RS
Wrong order. B was definitely request permission from immediate supv or bcs supv, I know because that was my answer. It was #18, first question after the in-basket
BCS Supervisor I don't remember being in that choice, it was just the cop's supervisor. I chose that one, but the choice about subsequent searches looked really good too...
