About how long after the exam does the list come out?

Depends how close the old list is to finishing. This Sgt list should be out pretty soon ad they will need to hire off it soon.

Also about how long after the exam do they post the answers we can compare our answer key to? Do they supply a paper to write down our answers on?

Wow, if that's the case then I see this list establishing fairly quickly...there are just over 100 names left on the current one. Not that they've been promoting like crazy or anything, but that isn't a whole lot of names to get through. redcons2, yes you get an answer sheet that you get to take home with you.

Hate to say it...Bloomberg just ordered a citywide hiring freeze. I dont know exactly what that means to the 2011 exam...

The 2009 list is almost done, even during hiring freezes the job still promotes slowly, so there will still be promotions.
