The Lt at SLC saying that the instructors originally were told that there MAY be an upfront class, and were now informed that there will be 16 Capts and 29 Lts in November, promoted on the 28th, pushing our promotion to the afternoon. The way the Lt said this, it seemed as though there would not be a November SLC for Sgts.

Brat said there WILL be an upfront class and she's been on the money so I'm siding with her. However, I don't care if the nov class is up front or not, as long as there is a NOV class and no slow downs all is well.

I'm just relaying the impression that I got from the Lt at SLC- If you would prefer that I not share my opinions and information, no problem- I hope you all get promoted upfront and pass the Lt Test, good luck.

Don't know but he just didn't seem to know much about the next upcoming class as opposed to the beginning of the month where he seemed more confident. But If others here with more reliable info is saying otherwise then go with that.

Can they do all three rank training...Sgt, Lt, and Capt? considering class of 30 LT, 20 Capt, and 40 SGT...with the 1600 recruits still at the academy.

Damn it. You guys are killing me, this is the only class that doesn't seem to have any solid information. No one knows anything or has any contacts that can verify if there is a class scheduled. Im sure they would have figured it out by now. Im a long time reader, first time poster. With that said, I gotta say Brat has been on point but has definitely fell off with the upfront thing. Whats going on!

I will ask at SLC both tomorrow (we are offsite) and Tuesday (we are at the academy). I know how you feel, Defective, I was there a month ago!

there IS room at the academy for all..........each have a dedicated room on the 8th floor and the recuits are down below

I just called uniform promotions and they said they don't have any information as of yet on the next class. However if I was a betting man I would put my money on Brats prediction.
