The list is scheduled to be picked-up from DCAS by our department tomorrow. If it's picked-up early enough, it will be disseminated to the patrol boroughs that day. If not, it will be done Friday. Good luck-
Let me get in on this too...I heard, that the list is gonna come out either tommorow, or in the near future....Def though on a weekday...Wont be out on a saturday or sunday...And when it does come out it will be before 1800 hours...You heard it here first....
i got the same info as eze. it came from a contact in personnel. hopefully dcas will put out the final key as they hand over the list. Being one of the people on the bubble, i keep checking the dcas site myself. I too have been frustrated that none of the rumors have panned out but I have to post when i've heard the same news to corroborate what others are saying. Lets hope this latest rumor will come true and don't forget our fallen brothers from 9/11/01. God bless all of them especially steve driscoll and james leahy since i knew both of them. They are all missed along with everyone who perished that day.
You heard it here first, the list will not be out on a Saturday or Sunday!!!!! That's right it'll be a weekday. This is a very reliable source!!!! But seriously I have to get a life and stop checking this site. All these rumors are giving me false hope.
Sept 17 give or take 4 months I got that from my retired desk officers brother who works with a guy in the NJ State Troopers who met a guy at a club on Saturday over drinks who tripped over a woman who told him (in curses) that her brother (who is a cop) said that his dogs mothers trainer said this...Now we pray... Dear G-d please allow this list to come out soon along with a good parity raise so that we can put food on our family's tables. Keep us safe from the career ending pitfalls and away from the podium at compstat. May we end up with a cushy weekend off detail with SA pay and let us go home safely every day allowing us to retire healthy... AMEN
Eze, the list has been in the Chief of Perssonnel office. Why are you saying that the Dept is going to pick it up from DCAS? Expainif you can; im confuse now.
Just an F.Y.I. to shed any confusion.... Promotional Exam lists do not come through the Finest machine like transfers or promotions do. DCAS drops off a copy of the list to all the patrol boroughs who then fax it to thier respective commands. It usually gets faxed to your Admin LT. If the list is coming out today, you'll know soon enough because you'll here grumblings from other commands. Good luck.
This is truely getting to be soo rediculous. People just throwing out dates of the list being out giving people false information. I think I'll just go in the kitchen make a sandwich and think of a date to post on the forum.
