I think the prisoner meal allowance was changed from 1.80 to another amount. Does anyone know about this change. I don't remember where I read or heard this. Thanks

I'm a first time Lt exam taker and received my admission ticket today. I live in Staten Island, but I'm taking the test at Bertraum HS, next to 1PP- Is this normal? The only thought I have is that maybe so few Sgt's are taking the test that they crammmed us all in one location.

There is a little conflict. It has to do with 220. Its a basic question. What can operations section chief open up ? Fast track says only groups/sectors, branches but NOT units. The key has a chart ( inluded below) and says it can open all 3. The patrol guide i was only able to find where it said it could o...

Just got a notice from DCAS yesterday stating something to the effect of "you are not in the eligible rank to take this exam". Obviously, I knew this, but I have heard that people have taken these exams without being in the proper rank. Guess I just wasted $90.

Hey, I heard from a Sgt in BMOC that 1600 signed up for the test and they are letting newly promoted Sgts file for the test. I thought the filing date ended in the summer ??????? I see future problems with this list already ! All this info came from a new Sgt to my command right out of BMOC.

It was an Aviation Incident which would be a Unified Command Matrix with the NYPD and FDNY as primary agencies, but it also was a Water Rescue which would make it a Single Commmand Matrix with the NYPD as the primary agency...What is the answer on test day??? I will go with Single Command Matrix.
