266 passed 2009 exam

i heard a rumor on this site...that the 08 list of 640 or so mite get cut...also heard on this site..a rumor that the 09 list may come out around sept...also on this site that a 2010 sgt list also may come out... I HATE TO BE THE BEARER OF BAD NEWS..AND I HOPE THEY DONT CUT THESE LIST , I HAVE FRIENDS ON THEM AN...

just got a letter in the mail directing me to 1 Centre street. Letter says to bring assorted paperwork to establish my veterans preference, and to fill out some questionaire. When the list is established you can contact DCAS @ 212-669-1357, enter you ss# and exam 8564. They will tell you your list number. WHEN THE LIST IS ESTABLISHED. Good luck to all. Last year I failed by 2, this year passed by 2. WooHoo!

About a little more than %10 of the people who took the test passed. Which means about 600-700 people passed the test because 6000 people took it. I cannot say where this came from for obvious reasons but believe me it is extrememly reliable and will be the outcome when the list is published. Now be aware...
